Wildlife at Kids Can!

Summer 2011: Where the Wild Things Are!

Our second week is full of animal fun at Kids Can! The kids will be visiting the zoo, the Wildlife Safari and Gifford Farms. A special presentation on Wednesday from Wildlife Encounters who will be bringing animals to us!

Summer 2011: Science Week

Our Preschoolers made homemade bubbles and bubble wands for science week! The toddlers made Lava Lamps with oil, water, and food coloring!

It is the first day of summer at Kids Can! The kids will have a great week learning about science with special visits to Kids Can with the CAPOW (Chemistry and Physics on Wheels) program from UNO and Miss Nebraska sharing her platform on Kids, Science, Education & a fun science experiment. We will be making volcanoes, slime and ice cream in a bag!

We have fun fieldtrips planned this week for our first week out of school to The Amazing Pizza Machine and CoCo Keys! Our Kids Can garden is being planted this week with tomatoes, peppers, carrots, squash, cucumbers and watermelons!
