Kids Can Van Found!

Special thanks to Chris Daffer and Lea Leimbach for helping us find our stolen van! Lea's daughter, Malique, actually recognized the van and Chris contacted the police. Thank you to all of our Facebook friends and WOWT and KMT V for spreading the word to help us find it.

It's Spring Break at Kids Can!

It's Spring Break at Kids Can this week! We are looking forward to a week of fun, friends and fieldtrips! Watch this week for pictures from our fieldtrips to the Amazing Pizza Machine, Mahoney State Park, Roller Skating and Swimming!

Kids At Heart event - March 16th

The Kids At Heart event hosted by Friends of Kids Can on March 16th was a huge success! The event, held at the Passport Restaurant was attended by more than 50 people interested in learning more about Kids Can programs and services. Thank you to all who attend and/or made donations on behalf of the event! A special thank you to the Friends of Kids Can Advisory Committee for their hard work in making the evening a success.

Today is 'Read Across America Day'! Take a moment to read a book with a child and celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday!

Happy 20th Anniversary at Kids Can Marinette!

Marinette, Senior Services Coordinator, celebrated 20 Years of Service with Kids Can Community Center on January 21st! As Marinette said, she started here part-time to earn some extra money for a trip to France. She came back from her trip and has been here ever since. Thank You Marinette for your dedication to our agency and our seniors!

What do your kids do when they are out of school? Kids Can offers full day programs for elementary students when OPS is out of school.

Join us for fun, games, art projects, field trip and more! Breakfast, lunch and snack included. Title XX accepted.

Happy New Year! Highlights from 2010 at Kids Can

Kids Can had a great 2010, and we’re looking forward to an even better 2011! We want to take this opportunity to thank our friends and donors for their support throughout the year by helping to make Kids Can a very special place for our children and families. We look forward to your support in the new year as we continue our mission of empowering children and parents to reach their potential and enabling older adults to maintain their independence.
